It is a teeny increase, but in recent weeks Cloudflare Radar now shows #IPv6 crossing the 40% proportion threshold in traffic. It has been hovering at 39% for awhile. We'll just have to wait and see if that is the new floor.

Iran's connectivity to the global Internet briefly recovered on March 12 6:35 PM - 6:55 PM local time when a state-owned network (AS58224) that 32.9% of the population in Iran is connected to appeared to toggle its routing announcements off-on-off-on over a 40-minute period.

The latest #Internet shutdown in #Iran has now entered its 7th day. Traffic remains well under 1% of previous levels.
The distribution of remaining traffic by ASN has shifted significantly since the shutdown was implemented.

IPv6 Adoption in 2026

IPv6 is over 30 years old now, so 2026 is definitely going to be the year where we see universal adoption. Uhuh, right.
