The iOS 26.4 beta Music app lets me create a new playlist using Apple Intelligence.

Basically, you type in some text that describes what you’re looking for, and the 25 song playlist is automatically generated (see pic).

Similar to what Spotify does?

In iOS Home Screen:

- long-press an app
- tap "Require Face ID" (see pic)
- App is locked.

One of those "good to know" things.

I've noticed that on my Apple Watch (watchOS 26.3 beta) workout summary screen, the dismiss target is both:

- highlit when I press it (see pic) and
- has a larger tap target

This does NOT appear to be the case on my wife's watch (watchOS 26.2).

Anyone else seeing this? This old news?

Apple introduces iPhone Pocket.

OK, I get that this type of phone carrier is quite popular in parts of the world, much like the crossbody strap.

But the price. Oof.

- $149.95 for the short strap
- $229.95 for the shoulder strap

Anyone buying this?

Here's the brand new (iOS 26.1 beta 4) Liquid Glass option.

Left pic: "Clear" (the old one)
Right pic: "Tinted" (new)

To me, "Tinted" is WAY better, should be the default.

The new switch is hidden in Settings > Display & Brightness > Liquid Glass

Took Google AI Studio for a spin, used the prompt that's been flying around.

Absolutely astonishing (see pic).

Not sure what to make of this. EVERYTHING in the image was from Gemini. All done from a single image of my cat.

Crazy.

Press and hold the watch face on your Apple Watch and you'll hit the "slide to change your watch face" interface.

Note that the time will change to 10:09 (see pic).

This is an aesthetic decision, harkens back to the setting used in mechanical watch ads.

And not to be confused with Steve Jobs edict to set watches to 9:41, which was the exact time when the first iPhone was announced.
