I moved all of my private code out of GitHub a couple of years ago, to ForgeJo. It’s been a stable, simple existence since then.
There’s other repository choices out there other than GitHub, and I’m glad!

Being able to compile libraries in KMP for iOS/Mac in Linux, means being able to use (often cheaper) Linux runners on CI.
It also means creating an SDK that wraps networking calls up to an API something that can be done in a single codebase. If I had a project that didn’t rely directly on Apple’s on frameworks to run, I might consider this route.
Watching the Kotlin conf livestream, and it’s awesome to see relatively decent AI integration, investment in Multiplatform tooling, and good connections with the community and open source.
Much like last year, it’s refreshing in comparison to how stale WWDC/state of the union updates have seemed to me in recent years.
