MPI pushed the #MINFLUX technique to the next level. It now allows protein dynamics to be observed under physiological conditions with a nanometer/millisecond.spatio-temporal precision of one
MINFLUX captures the rapid stepping motion of the motor protein kinesin-1 on a microtubule with nanometer precision.

What did the pyramids look like when they were first built? (livescience.com)
The ancient Egyptian pyramids have stood for thousands of years and are among the world's most enduring monuments. But over the millennia, the pyramids have changed, largely due to construction workers' repurposing of in-demand materials and looting.
Builders used 6.1 million tons (5.5 million metric tons) of limestone.

Bacteria really eat plastic (bionity)
Laboratory experiment shows that the #bacterium Rhodococcus ruber eats and actually digests #plastic. #Bacteria are able to break down about one percent of the fed plastic per year into #CO2 and other harmless substances.
Not a solution to the problem in our ocean - but another part of the answer to the question of where all the "missing plastic" in the oceans has gone.

No, Earth’s Inner Core Is Not Reversing The Direction Of Its Spin (Forbes)
