Very proud of my wife Stephanie Sandars . She won Table Topics at her club North Bucks Speakers Club last night. #toastmastersinternational #tabletopics #contests #first Congratulations XOX
Today started as a trip to the opticians that wasn't due until 2024. Off the cuff Stephanie Sandars and I went to MK Gallery and saw Boyd and Evans. They are based in Milton Keynes and have worked together since 1968. Steph and I both saw inspiration in the work which involves #photography and #painting. We also bumped into IVC friend Natasha.
#camerachallenge today. Practice digital camera infrared photography. Some success. The filter cut out all visible light below 720 nm and let's in infrared and a tiny amount of barely visible red. In nature chlorophyll and water vapour reflect infrared strongly, very strongly on a hot bright blue day like today. Good learning curve. Next stop colour infrared #InfraredPhotography
Getting more practiced with our new used #pentax camera today. I've just bought a cable release #intervalometer to minimise camera shake when doing zoomed in macro flower portraits. isn't this Indian summer marvellous for the #garden. #camerachallenge
My new office building at work. Building 146. The exterior is shot with 35mm Lomochrome Purple #workingenvironment #35mmfilm
Morning has broken like the first morning.. #flowers #gardening
Seeds, berries, and wild flowers along a lovely autumnal walk at the Ouse Valley Park with Stephanie and the boys. The Parks Trust have a lot of green spaces along the Ouse River between Stony and Newport Pagell. Something new to explore each time we go out.
Back to the future with my son Samuel. He wanted a smartphone video he made recorded to VHS. Via my desktop we found away to connect a 1980 #VHS recorder. #retro #qualityfamilytime @razdjensia @TRO11O1O1O
In #flower now in the #garden. African marigold, nasturtium, sweet peas, nicotiana, carnation, double impatiens, dahlia, petunia, sunflower, geraniums, and rose. We really like the spotty petunias.
