Honestly, the biggest problems we have about data privacy are cultural.

We need better tools and better laws, yes. But we must not neglect working on our society's culture surrounding data privacy and consent.

It is the only way this will truly get better.

I don't personally think of retrocomputing as reaching back in time. I think what some of us are really reaching for is sanity and control in our devices, a sense that the machine was engineered for a human being to use and understand. It just happens that it's old machines that work that way.

@HollieK72 @RainofTerra I think many could use a replacement. Some it would probably be better to try to fix it rather than replace it. But... So many could just outright be replaced.
