Microsoft building coreutils for Windows and creating their own fork of Linux is interesting. I think they slowly, over the past years and in the future years, preparing users for a “Windows”-like Linux from Microsoft completely making Windows itself obsolete. Will take maybe another 10 years but I think that’s where we’re heading.
