@TechConnectify it's not a bad pitch. i've found that using the word "community" instead of "instance" gets a better reaction, too. like, "it's like twitter, except broken up into different communities, but they can all talk to each other" seems to avoid triggering peoples technobabble alarms

I follow both #infosec and #woodworking related hashtags, so when someone excitedly posts that they've upgraded their router it's always a bit of a guessing game until I get to the hashtags at the bottom.
