#OnThisDay in 2018, Scott Foster, an emergency backup goaltender, made his NHL debut. Foster closed out the end of the 3rd period, turning aside all the shots he faced to preserve the Blackhawks' 6-2 lead. The 36-year-old accountant was awarded the game's first star. #Hockey #EBUG #Blackhawks

RIP to Nova Scotia hockey legend Bill Riley who has passed away at the age of 75. Riley, from Amherst, NS was the third black player to play in the #NHL and first from #NovaScotia. He was inducted into the NS Sports Hall of Fame in 1998.
