The new server rack is almost alive! 🔋

It features multiple Raspberry Pis running Podman containers, a dedicated backup server, and plenty of storage — basically a self-hosted powerhouse. 🗂️

The custom PC frame at the bottom started as an OpenFrame case and now fits perfectly in the shallow rack. 🖥️

Just a few parts left… can’t wait to see it fully operational. ⚙️

Chemnitz Linux Days 2026 – A Huge Success! 🎥🖥️🐧📚

It was amazing to explore the latest in open-source, hardware, and software – and even give a talk myself. 🙉

A personal highlight was OpenStreetMap + Minecraft, bringing real cities to life in 3D. 🌍

Other exciting topics included PCB development and Raspberry Pi alternatives “Made in Germany.” 🧮
