This marks the second custom block we release in picu (Pro).

It's been a steep learning curve, but I slowly start to get the hang of it. And I have a feeling it wont be the last... 😉

If you are a photographer using client area pages for your proofing, you should check out this release.

Ever since seeing their CEO’s presentation of „W Social“ at Davos, it felt like something‘s off with that project.

@_elena did a fantastic job researching and backing those feelings up with lots of facts. And it actually sounds even worse than I imagined.

Merriam-Webster: "When movies were shot on physical film, the film was measured in feet. This is why any recorded thing is now called 'footage.'"

Haseeb Aslam: "@grok is this legit?"

Merriam-Webster: "Where do you think grok gets the info?"

Redl and Alex Hohl – the two street artists I share a work space with – were commissioned to add a giant mural to our office building and it looks amazing already. Will share more once it’s finished.

Also, renovation has been going on for at least a year now, I can’t wait to get rid of the scaffolding in front of our windows, not to mention the noise.

We went to the circus again this Sunday.

Here you see 10 people on motorcycles, racing around the inside of a giant steel “Globe of Death“, which then – as if this wasn’t crazy enough – got split in half while they kept riding.

A world record, according to the announcer – and certainly among the dumbest things you can do with a motorcycle. But also very impressive and exactly the thing you go to a circus for.

What if tech tried making things for users instead of investors
Reading List #115 – claudio

Last week sucked, big time.

Spent a lot of time this weekend at the 1st of May festivities, seeing friends, planting our balcony, and doodling around to clear my head.

This week started off rough. Didn’t feel like working at all today, skipped the office and went to the Üetliberg with the family instead.

We are aware of recent reports regarding targeted phishing attacks that have resulted in account takeovers of some Signal users, including government officials and journalists. We take this very seriously.

To be clear: Signal’s encryption and infrastructure have not been compromised and remain robust. These attacks were executed via sophisticated phishing campaigns, designed to trick users into sharing information – SMS codes and/or Signal PIN – to gain access to users’ accounts.
