Last night I got home from teaching the #watercolor class and decided to sit down and paint. I’ve been having a hard time getting started so I picked one of the phenomenal bird photos from @Jgbird as a reference

The #watercolor class went like this: approximately 30 seconds into the lesson “WHERE IS THE PAPER SO I CAN START PAINTING”
The kids get the paper, mostly ignore me, paint one picture, run off
Me and the other parents kept talking and painting. This was the vibe in the room
Teaching a class for 10 year olds tomorrow about watercolors. This is the color wheel I made with the #watercolor set we are providing them. I think the iPhone camera is doing this wheel a bit of a favor. Also it’s still a bit wet in the photo and it’s dried down a bit since then

Anyway the X-700 is sturdy, and fairly easy to operate with thin gloves. Best part, the split/prism finder is big, and can accommodate reading glasses very well. I was worried about being able to tell what was in focus but I do not have that worry after my walk yesterday.
