I genuinely think the worst thing the internet did to reading was convince people that finishing books is a competitive sport. You don't need to read 52 books a year. You just need to read. Books you like. At your own pace. And think about them for longer than a TikTok video.

Mallory's Musings & MischiefBorders should only be relevant to governments, not individuals. As in, they should exist only to define the jurisdictional boundary of a particular governing body, nothing more. No person should ever be denied freedom of movement across a national border.
All cities have borders too, but you don't need to get the city's permission before moving to/from one. Should be the same for countries. Passports are bullshit.
