I've gone all these years without physically breaking any micro SD cards. That ended about 3 weeks ago, when 1 sd card cracked while I was removing from one of my OctoPrint Pi 3s. Then one of our dogs chewed a (brand new) pi 5, breaking that sd card. Today, I knocked the replacement pi 5 off of my desk, that that sd card broke. Maybe these things come in 3s, and I'm good for a while?
The number of Apple pundits celebrating Alan Dye's departure without grappling with the forces within Apple that allowed him to operate there for as long as he did is depressingly unsurprising.

Me in the group chat when we go from "Time Cook is leaving" to "Alan Dye is leaving" over just a couple weeks.

I picked up an #Anycubic Kobra S1 Combo, and it is a breath of fresh air compared to dealing with my @Creality_Official Ender 3s. I was looking for a 4 color printer, and the S1 was the best priced #CoreXY printer that I could pick up locally. When I looked at #Anycubic 's #BlackFriday sale, & saw I could get a Kobra 3 Combo for $20 more than the second ACE that I wanted, I pulled the trigger on that too. My 2 Ender 3s have been replaced by a Kobra S1 and Kobra 3 each with their own ACE.

Our town's fall festival purchased a number of "cheap" android tablets to use as Square POS terminals. #Shocker They didn't work with the aux/headphone jack card readers, and they wouldn't stay connected to WiFi. They were basically useless. #YouGetWhatYouPayFor

I think for next year, we will invest in some iPads mini so that we have working tablets.

Yesterday, my wife had the displeasure of taking a test proctored by PSI Online. Unfortunately, her MacBook Air died, so she had to use my computer. After many false starts, she got the process started even though I had upgraded my MacBook to Tahoe (unsupported). When she paused the test for a bio break, it timed out. In order to get back in to finish the test, she had to get re-qualified (for lack of a better term) by a different proctor who made her use a mirror and take down wall hangings.
My favorite part about having a day ๐ŸŽโŒš๏ธand a night ๐ŸŽ โŒš๏ธ is how all the Text messages replay and I get notifications for each message. Itโ€™s like forced re-living my day.
Only a 14-year-old nerd would read this many words over and over.
