I am a norvegian maker of music and videoes. I also mix and master music for others and been running the Metronomicon Audio label since 2001.

I am an active DJ that like odd combinations of electronic and folk music.

I've released close to 20 albums, plenty remixes and also composed music to art, dance and theathre.

Would it be better or worse if they made actual native instruments like bone flutes and shamanic drums?
Calling a company Native Instruments is cultural appropriation unless there are some actual natives working there
Wonder if DJs living in the countryside are using Traktor? #dj #rural #nativeinstruments

2010! I keep uploading to Bandcamp maybe more to understand my own past than to promote the music. Levitating Disk is all the tracks between 98-09 that didn't fit on albums because the were too pop. C.O.U. was more like a band with Sigurd (drums), Sara (vocals, synth) and Emil (synth bass) especially live. The discs on the sleeve is from an Amiga 500 and designer Aslak photoshopped away the text on them(!)

There is not many albums left until we aproach "modern" times! https://counivers.bandcamp.com/album/levitating-disk

Tuvas Blodklubb mentioned in Bandcamp Daily was not on my bingocard for 2026. Also a good writeup on new norwegian folk scene:

Norway’s Trad Folk Scene is Booming

With an inclusive attitude and contemporary influences, Norwegian artists are recontextualizing their country's folk music traditions.

Me and Kenneth Lien went to Sweden to play at a #folkMusic clubnight and it was really cool! We heard that they had Folkklubb back in day day - was the swedes the first to be #folkclubbing?
We also have a talk with the orgainzer of the night, Fredy Clue. Come along and se us and the great band Duga play. Every thumb and comment on Youtube counts as we are trying to get to 1000 subs before summer! #crossover #sweden #scandifuturism
