From Belgium to Cybersec Europe: 𝙒𝙝𝙮 𝙇𝙤𝙘𝙖𝙡 𝙊𝙛𝙛𝙚𝙣𝙨𝙞𝙫𝙚 𝙎𝙚𝙘𝙪𝙧𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝙀𝙭𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙩𝙞𝙨𝙚 𝙈𝙖𝙩𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙨 𝙈𝙤𝙧𝙚 𝙏𝙝𝙖𝙣 𝙀𝙫𝙚𝙧! 🇪🇺⚔️💻 It’s game on at Cybersec Europe 2025! During the opening keynote, Matthias Diependaele (Minister-President of the Flemish Government and Flemish Minister for Digitalisation) addressed the growing need for trust, resilience, and simplification in the way we approach cybersecurity. He reminded us that this is no longer just a technical challenge—it’s a societal and strategic one. While awareness and education are essential, I believe it’s equally important that we—especially in Government and Military organisations— continue to invest in our 𝘰𝘧𝘧𝘦𝘯𝘴𝘪𝘷𝘦 𝘤𝘺𝘣𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘦𝘤𝘶𝘳𝘪𝘵𝘺 𝘤𝘢𝘱𝘢𝘣𝘪𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘦𝘴 as well🛡️⚙️ In an era of rising geopolitical tension and cyberwarfare, nations like Russia, China etc have long mastered advanced offensive techniques. If Europe wants to stay secure, sovereign, and digitally resilient, we must continue to cultivate these skills ourselves— 𝙖𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙨𝙖𝙢𝙚 𝙡𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙡, 𝙤𝙧 𝙗𝙚𝙩𝙩𝙚𝙧. 🌍🔥 🎯 One of the critical domains is Windows Exploit Development, including both stack & heap exploitation. Windows remains the dominant platform in enterprise, government, and military infrastructure. Understanding how attackers develop and weaponize exploits on this platform gives defenders a serious edge—helping them to build stronger defenses, detect sophisticated attacks, and strike back when necessary. 🇪🇺 𝖠𝗍 𝖢𝗈𝗋𝖾𝗅𝖺𝗇, 𝗐𝖾 𝗈𝖿𝖿𝖾𝗋 𝗐𝗈𝗋𝗅𝖽-𝖼𝗅𝖺𝗌𝗌, 𝖡𝖾𝗅𝗀𝗂𝖺𝗇-𝖻𝗈𝗋𝗇 𝖾𝗑𝗉𝖾𝗋𝗍𝗂𝗌𝖾 𝗂𝗇 𝗍𝗁𝖾𝗌𝖾 𝗌𝗄𝗂𝗅𝗅𝗌. 🇧🇪 But we shouldn’t just be proud of that—we should actively support it. 💪 Too often, cybersecurity budgets flow to providers outside Europe. If we want true digital sovereignty and economic resilience, we must invest in the skills and solutions that are developed right here, in Europe.
