Dear whoever runs the world: make all the months 30 days except for December which becomes 34/35.

We all need a few extra days to prepare for Xmas, and it'd be nice to not have to sing a silly little rhyme to remember the numbers of days in each month.

BBC News is trying to tell me that "yapping" is a new word meaning "talking at length about things that don't matter that much".

But we used it exactly that way in London when I was growing up in the 90s. Regional slang gone global?
