@violetblue got my booster 6 months ago, and will be getting another one in a few weeks

@CyReVolt @elly ARM hardware in general (and will include ARM chromebooks) when we start looking into them.

I've been working on Rockchip boards right now to get started on ARM, and so far we're using edk2 with pure PEI init. Because coreboot support for ACPI or UEFI services on ARM is completely non-existent, and it appears there is no interest in addressing that in coreboot.

Should uboot get better UEFI support, we could look into that. But for now it looks like edk2 is the only way on ARM

@elly @CyReVolt already most modders on ARM are moving towards either u-boot or edk2 only.

If coreboot pursues in this direction of "Linux only", it will be completely dead-in-the-water on ARM. As I know I'll move entirely over to using edk2 on ARM (or if uboot gets more complete uefi support, to that), and completely get rid of coreboot entirely from ARM chromebooks

@CyReVolt it's duplicating u-boot code for no reason and sending ARM coreboot barreling down the Linux-only path
@lunch coreboot breaking all non-Linux OS's and wondering why people just use edk2 / UEFI
@migy @elly nah, we're planning to stay on Discord. She was referring to setting up a Discourse instance as we abandoned Reddit months ago
