@matt_birchler Not me! My steam birthday is April 20, 1969.
@marcoarment I’m sure you’ve heard this a hundred times already but just in case, following up on one of your workout woes from ATP 682: go to the Watch app on your iPhone, then scroll to Workout, then scroll down and turn on “End Workout Confirmation.” That will add a confirmation step before ending a workout.
@samhenrigold Thank you! I was looking for a link in the menus or footers and couldn't find it.
@samhenrigold Hi! I would love to follow your writing in my RSS reader but I don't see a feed on your site—have you thought about adding one?
@caseyliss @mathowie @lexfri Check in Settings > Focus > [affected focus mode] and see if Intelligent Breakthrough & Silencing is enabled.
@christianselig Smart bulbs connected to a smart switch is a big yikes, at least for normal usage. I have a couple outdoor lights that are on a Lutron smart switch and during the holidays I replace them with Hue bulbs so I can make ✨color ✨ but it requires two separate automations to turn them on from the switch first and then set the color a few minutes later (to give them enough time to power on and reconnect to the network) and they show a connection error when the smart switch is turned off.
@tvaziri From the Focus Mode menu in Control Center, you can click the ... next to a given Focus and then choose from options like “For 1 hour”, “Until the end of the current calendar event”, “Until I leave this location”, or “Until this evening”. But no option for an arbitrary, specific number of hours.

@RecDiffs @siracusa @hotdogsladies This Reddit thread is right up your alley #secretweirdthings

My team at Apple has multiple openings available, including Tech Lead position for a high visibility, high impact project, and a senior IC role that will involve working with half of the operating system (and design) to deliver an integrated and reliable user experience. If you're interested in shaping the future of personal automation or designing APIs that will power keynote-worthy features for years to come, feel free to drop me a DM. The position isn't remote, but we'll help you get here.
