Iām so happy! š A good friend, who shall be nameless, gave me a #Roland SH-101 - and not just any, but a beautiful, rare red variety!
So - I took it apart, found a weird capacitor bodged inside, which had ripped a pad off the board, rebuilt the keyboard as some keys were intermittent, and replaced the foam slider gaskets. Some caps tested bad, so swapped the lot for matching red WĆ¼rth ones.
Finally - we fitted the excellent @tubbutec SH-1oh1 MIDI kit, which really makes the SH-101 shine āØ
One thing Iām noticing about Mastodon is that itās just an echo chamber for certain groups.
Maybe Iām at the point in life where I just find all āsocial mediaā completely annoying.
Do I delete them all?
