@kevingamin My repair guy can do a keyboard replacement, but I am sure the spacebar works just the key needs maybe to be replaced.

Right Command Key is My New Spacebar
In the ongoing commitment to keep use of my trusty old 2012 Macbook Pro, after a battery replacement last May, the latest challenge was the loss of my spacebar.

@xolotl I guess you could not generate a sufficient AI image there and had to resort to using my CC0 photo? #ExtremelyHumbled

@dajb What is "TV"? ;-)
One thing I am learning from my work with AI writers is just how much assessments are asking for writing; as if critical thinking can only be exemplified by writing. I’m going to be emphasizing more oral assessments. I think conversation might be the new assessment model for me.

@econproph Thanks so much for these reminders, I am learning more about keratoconus, e.g. https://www.livingwithkeratoconus.com/what-is-keratoconus/

I imagine you might have good examples where alt text helps, but most sites make it hard to find (do media descriptions in captions help?)

Myself I face potential long term issues of diabetic retinopathy

Noting also the GIF issue, here at least a CW might help (?)

Should Alt Text be Visible/Accessible for All?
There has been over the last few (insert measure of time) better awareness and attention given to making information in media available (aka accessible) for the visually impaired, via alt text or image descriptions (not a new topic 'round here). But here is something counter intuitive...

I suggest that alt text / media descriptions should be indicated, visible, and copi
