I can't find anything about it at all. Microsoft documentation doesn't provide any context. Nobody seems to have asked this question before.

I am looking to send transactional emails for a somewhat small project, expecting roughly ~100 or less emails a month.
Just got a quote from a European provider giving me a 50,000 emails per month threshold with very steep pricing which is kind of insane.
What's the right way to send email for small projects like this that don't end up in people's spam folders or get marked as "dangerous"?
Why is everything related to email so bad? 😠
