One of things that will sometimes come up for me is sometimes, am I really an ultra runner if I haven’t run a 100 mile race? I think I heard someone say you “need a buckle to really be an ultra runner” once. This would have been at the very beginning of my journey. Solid chance they were joking. Haven’t heard it repeated either, yet it will pop up in my mind one in awhile. I know it’s not true and…https://runtrimag.com/overcoming-imposter-syndrome-in-endurance-athletes/ #ultrarunning #impostersyndrome (2/2)

An article with excellent reminders on how to keep moving forward. Progress, not perfection. (1/2)
@Runningpunk A kinder world, yes indeed. Love the relay analogy!

Solid reporting on some serious security vulnerabilities found in all Coros devices that Coros initially did not address appropriately. They have now provided a timeline for updates which hopefully they can hit. Not a great look, and, as the article mentions, pretty typical reactive security versus proactive security that is way too common in this day and age. https://www.dcrainmaker.com/2025/06/coros-confirms-substantial-watch-security-vulnerablity-says-fixes-are-coming.html #cybersecurity #coros
COROS Confirms Substantial Watch Security Vulnerability: Says Fixes Are Coming

A German IT security firm has published a list of 8 different security bugs found in all COROS watches that give essentially full access to not only the user's watch, but also their COROS account. This includes everything from

Looking forward to having more information on Monday so I can understand the timeline for my return to running. Been doing more strength training and yoga, and will be building running back in with those habits in a more consistent fashion. (2/2)
