I am multifaceted. Here are the areas I currently identify with strongly: Trail runner, amateur photog, meditator, security professional, coffee lover.
Doing the work to keep moving forward, and doing my best to stay curious.

The goal: to be running with the pack again sooner rather than later. #Trailrunning #recovery #injury

Going to be a hot one this weekend, so I finally prepped some cold brew. This glass container will be full of cold brew goodness sometime this afternoon!

There is something so magical about a morning run. This is from yesterday.

This #alaskanhusky is plain tuckered out.

Did a solid 12 miles today on the CZ Trail here in Oregon with the #alaskanhusky Yoté. The sun was out yet the temperature was cool. This is my favorite kind of running weather.

As my vacation starts coming to an end, here are some pics from the Tuesday adventure to Marmot and Jade Lakes. This was a 21 mile out and back run with 4700 feet of elevation gain. There were a few spots that had loose rock and shale, including the scramble up to Jade, yet most of it was lovely singletrack. If you want to see the actual route, here it is in Strava: https://strava.app.link/krp8sWSjZCb. To be clear, total time was 8:04:40.

Hello and Happy Friday. Just got back from being out of service adventuring in the Alpine Lakes Wilderness region of the Wenatchee Forest. Will post more pics later today after I am all caught up.

As the weekend winds to a close, I give you a picture of this alpine longhorn beetle that was crawling on the side of our house today.

Time for a #MonDog post, mostly because I snapped this yesterday and it feels post worthy.

Spent the weekend in the Mt. Hood National Forest, mostly without service, volunteering at an aid station for the Mt. Hood 50 miler, running a 10 mile loop with a jump in the lower twin lake, camping near clear lake, another run on Sunday, and another jump in a lake. What an absolutely fun filled time.
