@jerkob1000 itās a pretty common tactic it seems: moratorium until we can study it, then when the study comes out, pretend the study said what you wanted it to and just do the thing. Thatās been happening in UT with all sorts of topics.
They seem to be counting on the people who only kind of pay attention will assume the study justifies their action. Or maybe just adds an air of reasonability to placate moderates.

Moved back to the official Mastodon app after using Ivory for a few years. While Ivory is still excellent, Mastodonās app is improved so much I donāt feel the need for a 3rd party app anymore.
