@dadegroot @lauraritchie I have seen her post on birdsite too, but not here lately. Seems to be okay in that I’m not seeing any signs of alarm on her birdsite posts!

Brave is showing up in my newsfeeds again, so

Periodic reminder that Brendan Eich, the CEO of Brave Software, is a homophobe who donates to anti-LGBT organizations.

I'm not saying that you shouldn't use the browser. But you should probably be wary of any monetization attempts, since we know where that money will go.

@cosullivan @gemlog Maybe so! I’ve been here 15 years but this is my first federal election as a Canadian. Got citizenship around a year and a half ago or so.

@dadegroot I wish I could say it was luck; there have been crocs under that bridge every time I’ve come here for the last 15 years (about every 2 years or so). There’s a whole set of tourist shops built up around the bridge and I wonder if folks are keeping the crocs fed under there to keep the tourists coming. Maybe not, of course. Still, it’s very cool!

@[email protected] Yes, those are so cool! And tons of other crabs crawling along the rocks in the surf. Such a beautiful place.
