Agree with the sentiment except that we do, in fact, want the government to step in and “break” certain tools.
Cars. Guns. Bicycles too.
Every safety feature added to a dangerous product through government regulation is there despite industry insiders’ complaints.
Percentages are crazy because you can say a company lost 99% of its value and that sounds pretty bad.
And then in the next sentence you can say its value went up 350% and that sounds pretty good!
This is why I never changed my legal name to Clarko.

I’m sure the word “disruption” has been thrown around plenty with regards to AI
but I’m also sure people have forgotten Christensen’s actual definition of the term
