PCB Poetry #144
Thanks for sending this 'undeliverable' package back to us Royal Mail, but i can't help thinking things might have gone a little more smoothly had you not apparently decided to store it underwater!
Finally got hold of a Korg KP3. Now we just have to hope I actually get around to taking the back off at some point this decade......

The fact that you can also make music with Behringer kit is just an accidental side effect of their profit harvesting scheme.

Its just a joke. calm down.

Right now you have some kit on a shelf or in a cupboard somewhere, and the batteries that you forgot to take out or replace 5 years ago are slowly leaking and destroying large parts of the circuitboard..........

Is there a reason why, when someone sadly dies and a new company takes over supplying the PCB's for their old projects, those PCB's tend to be really expensive? Just looking at some old Jürgen Haible and MFOS stuff and most of them are over £30 per board.

This is a genuine question as i'm sure there must be a reason for it that i'm not aware of.

Actually did some proper old school toy circuit bending yesterday! A YakBak toy voice sampler thing with an additional line in and out on 1/4 inch jacks, including a switch to select between the internal mic and line in as sampling sources, a pitch/speed knob, and a 9v power input as this thing appears to just eat batteries!

As you can see, we've had to build all the mods into another box bolted onto the bottom of the YakBak.

The lofi crunch on this thing is incredible!

Imagine being one of those people who genuinely wants to 'interact with brands you love'. Imagine having set your quality control and life goals at a level so low that something so soul crushingly banal counts as life affirming entertainment.

I'm launching a new social media app. It's called BIRB. This is the logo. It's the only app that demands you crochet, knit or embroider your posts.
Posts are called 'Yarns', editing a Yarn is called Darning, threads are called Tapestries, pile-ons are Shag Piles, blocking is called Black-Sheeping.

After doing this kind of work for a while, you come to the inevitable conclusion that the vast majority of people who own a glue gun, are exactly the kind of people who should never be allowed within a 100 meter radius of a glue gun.
