Trump threatens further sanctions on Russian trade when US trade with Russia is so sanctioned already it's like half a percent of Russia's export. The US imported less than 3B worth of trade goods in 2024 from Russia. India is over 60B, China is over 80B.

Also, the *Soviet* WW II losses were about about 27M people -- and among those 5-8M were Ukrainian. 60M is more in line with the total loss of life in WW II which was 50-55M civilian and 20-25M military.

Oh look Paul Graham published another essay where he firmly places himself in the white supremacist misogynist camp. Even someone on the orange site recognized the problem -- of course it's downvoted massively. Also, even this comment shied away from the conclusion stated above.

Of course, already in 2005 he wrote "I would be reluctant to start a startup with a woman who had small children, or was likely to have them soon"

At every step we are shocked at what Matt Mullenweg does and think "this is it, it can't be more unhinged than this" and every step we are wrong. This man really needs professional help.
