Incidentally: Holy crap does the PS5 not like it when the router captive portals because the internet is down. Took five minutes to get to the homescreen. Another twelve to load Ghost of Yotei.
I'm guessing if I took down the interface fully it'd behave better and that it's the router's annoying "feature" of redirecting all traffic to a static "The Internet No Worky" page that caused it to take obscenely long to timeout all the live checks.
Playing old ff7 in between sessions of new ff7
I've talked about the Game Dad in this thread but I don't think I've mentioned what it actually is. It's one of these, a little handheld emulation console, this particular #gameDad is an Anbernic RG353V, it's like a hundred bucks and it's bloody hard to grumble about. I made a shite little website about them at https://gamedad.club.

If your website doesn’t load in under 3 seconds* on an expensive phone in The Software Town, you did it wrong. Yes, this means every social media company and every newspaper are doing it wrong. I said what I said

Well, so far -this- Friday off is not as bad as last week's (spent in emerg) as I've managed to install the second rain barrel, finally.
Not without scrapes and bruises and too many mosquito bites. But the labour is done, and now I should rest.
...And of course the ISP has decided today will be a day for an outage. Gorram Rogers (resold through TekSavvy). It's too buggy to be outdoors, and Nebula won't watch itself. Guess I can work through my videogame backlog or ever-growing to-read pile.
