Chris McMahon is a novelist and short story writer based in Brisbane, writing everything from fantasy to SF. The heroic journey is central to his fantasy fiction, while his SF is driven more by the exploration of scientific possibilities. His recent novels include the epic fantasy Tower of the Mountain King: The Wildness, and Warriors of the Blessed Realms, which blends contemporary fantasy and fantasy with elements of SF and horror.
OK, it's official! NASA has begun the Artemis II countdown. It's kind of mind-blowing to think it's been 53 years since Apollo 17, the last crewed mission to the Moon, but I'm excited! Best of luck! Go Orion spacecraft!

An interstellar visitor to the solar system has been observed by no less than two orbiting spacecraft and a Martian rover. The Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter camera got a picture of 31/ATLAS last October. Closest Earth approach Fri Dec 19th.
