Sidenote: Microsoft say the average worker gets 153 teams messages a day. That's one every 3 minutes or so (although not really as they come in batches usually).

Writing tip: Try deleting your first paragraph*.
Often your first paragraph is for you, not your reader. Delete it and your reader will get into the action immediately.
It's amazing how often this works.
*If you're a good writer, it might just be a warm up sentence.
