Hearing a family member, who is trans and is someone whom I deeply love, share about their regular harassment on the Streets of San Francisco, breaks my heart. They choose to love while others hate. They are compassionate and empathetic to people that society rejects.
They are the best of us all. This is not about politics. This is about existence and the right for people to live their lives as human beings.
