How did I have the temerity to think I, of lazy/procrastinationy fame, could make an animated short in 3 months? I had been working on the talky/no-movey-much parts but I started working on the beginning, where I plotted out the introduction of this octopus guy with an intricately detailed 24 frames a second 14 second action packed wild ride of random hilarity but I think it's going to be more like 4 seconds of a thing that's sort of important in the end and a little less random.
Here's a video I took with my phone of my computer where I'm making an animated short featuring a disembodied head that can apparently run away on its hair after getting hit by lightning while inside a living room in the presence of possibly an alien woman in a recliner. Perfectly normal stuff.

Here's what was supposed to be a crown with legs flinging itself at a deer and piercing its eye because spooky season but then I realized how much work would've been involved in that shitpost and was like how about it just sort of tries to spit at it instead. So its a crown with legs failing to spit on a deer. The deer looks pretty happy about it. That's it, that's all.

I did it. It took hours and only one thing is moving but that's more things that are moving than I could move yesterday. I'm well on my way to creating a full experimental animated short film that I can submit to festivals by the end of December. That's pretty delusional but I need something. Anything. I was trying to record a more metal sounding album until one of the songs inspired a horror screenplay that I started working on and then I got distracted by other things for a day and didn't know what to go back to working on because it seems like I should finish one before I start working on the other, so instead of figuring out which one to finish, I decided to avoid both and drew this instead. Plus writing this post and deciding whether to post it is also helpful in using up time. Now what?
Oh, it's the 31st? What a coincidence. 31 years ago tonight someone called me Chewy for the first time. It's just my real first and last names combined. I don't know what she thought he meant by it or she was already mad at him for something else because I knew them separately and never saw them interact before or after this exact moment. It was wild just how mean it felt. Both for him and me. Why were people always trying to kill cool nicknames for me on my behalf? Also, yikes, calm down.
