I - Intro The first time I successfully installed Linux, I remember thinking “What’s that GRUB thing that always shows up?” Though… the most common thing was reading error messages because I kept breaking system stuff =) I learned a lot trying the famous “dual boot.” Of course, my first attempt failed because… yes, you guessed it: I installed Linux first, then Windows. It’s technically possible to configure Windows bootloader to read Linux partitions, though it’s extremely complex and error-prone.

I - Intro Continuing from the previous post about GNU/Linux system startup, this time I’ll tell you about services. How many times did I struggle with the “print spooler” service in Windows! If you worked in IT starting in Help Desk, Service Desk, or similar positions in corporate environments… you’ve suffered through it too -_- As for Linux… well, the concept is similar but of course it has its differences.

El misterio del arranque: GRUB, Bootloader y Kernel
I - Intro La primera vez que instalé con éxito Linux, recuerdo pensar “¿Qué es ese GRUB que sale siempre?” Aunque…lo más común era leer mensajes de error porque rompía cosas del sistema =) Aprendí mucho probando el famoso “dual boot”. Por supuesto que el primer intento fue fallido porque…sí, adivinaron: instalé primero Linux y luego Windows. Técnicamente es posible configurar el bootloader de Windows para que sea compatible y lea la partición de Linux, pero extremadamente complejo y propenso a errores.
Iujuuuu 
primera vez haciendo 5k (primer intento también xD ), muy muy feliz!! También porque podría haber hecho tranquilamente 2k más. Súper contento

Ubicación: Torrent, Valencia.

Mastonautas, quisiera compartir con ustedes el inicio de un nuevo proyecto.
Durante estos casi 20 años de camino profesional IT, he integrado equipos de distintos tamaños, en distintos contextos, cada uno con sus desafíos, objetivos, virtudes y defectos.
Sin embargo, hay algo en común. En todos ellos he tenido la oportunidad de aprender.
Me siento muy agradecido de haber compartido experiencias con profesionales que son un libro abierto, tanto en el aspecto técnico y humano.
Aprender no sólo es sumar conceptos. El proceso es la verdadera motivación: debatir, compartir métodos, cuestionar, corregir, cambiar, rehacer, mejorar, probar, preguntar, equivocarse una y otra vez.
Todos somos alumnos y todos somos maestros. Todo el tiempo.
En este nuevo proyecto compartiré contenido IT, labs, guías, sobre #linux #openSource #ciberseguridad y muchos, muchos temas más.

Qué lindo es salir a correr! No tiene comparación con la "cinta", el trayecto se hace más entretenido, la exigencia también...a veces sortear obstáculos, esquivar, espantar moscas 😆, respirar aire fresco...y sobre todo, si tienen mucha imaginación, no da miedo a que la cinta se trabe, o se caigan y sean el próximo meme de internet 😆😆
