Feel like a noob that I didn't know this existed. How long I have needlessly been starting at Apple trash logs in Xcode console. OS_ACTIVITY_MODE used to be an option, but I feel like I had to keep that on at some point because it started filtering some good with the bad … but don’t remember for sure. I still don’t understand why this is even a thing we have to deal with.

@tonyarnold it is somewhat apples to oranges (app vs cli). I was trying the Codex app for development. Codex app organizes by ‘threads’. Switching between them carries some overhead/delay at times. I also prefer different macOS spaces per project. If the Codex app supported multiple windows that would negate most of it. All that being said, I’m moving back to cli + Ghostty 100% for dev work.

@tonyarnold I do use the CLI as well but same critique versus Claude holds. Their 2x usage limit offer till April 2nd with the App got me try to force it. But maybe App usage isn’t a requirement? https://github.com/openai/codex/discussions/11406

I've tried to like Codex but I find it much harder to work with than Claude. Also using their Codex IDE versus just straight Ghostty is frustrating … not a fan of constantly having to change threads to multitask.
