I like fantasy, horror, and vibrantly colored art! Sometimes I draw and roleplay. Please don't follow me if you're a minor! I'm 20!

Think I'm gonna hop on over to fandom.ink and make that my main. 👀

So my main takeaway from the tumblr debacle is that people are still expecting corporations to behave like they're their friends. And they're not.

Communities are built out of individuals coming together, not imposed on them from above.

With any luck recent events will see people switching back towards early-internet style sub-Dunbar number ad hoc communities. I remain hopeful.

daily reminder that your fictional ships and kinks don't make you an evil person ❤️
We shouldn't be focused on our number of followers or popularity. What matters in the long run is how we contribute to the community, not how many people follow one of our profiles.
@Lunatic_Moth No problem! Glad to help!
@Lunatic_Moth Fandom.ink is one!
WELP none of my messages are sending on discord again. I got banished to discord purgatory once more

NEW FOLKS: you should also know that you can turn off boosts from a certain person if you like their toots but not the stuff they repost.

(You can also turn off reposts completely in the web app, but it won't carry over to other apps.)

@eddiekaspbrak Nope! That's still otherkin. Factkin refers specifically to when you claim to be kin with real people who are still alive or were still alive until recently. (Note: People who believe they were reincarnated from real life historical figures are not considered factkin... or any sort of kin.)
@worm_rodeo It's an identity, so how a person chooses to describe it is up to them. Some people might say they turned into an otherkin/fictionkin, other people might describe their experiences as having always been that way in some capacity, but finally figuring it out.
