The full triptych is out of the kiln! They all have flaws (e.g. s-crack in the too thin bottom of the one on the left), but I like where they'e heading!
Don't normally post my ceramics on here, but this one is a chance to talk about George Ohr the "Mad Potter of Biloxi" and the teacher I learned about him from, Steve Horn.

Mark ReidTIL that there is a very nice, free PDF book called “Conway’s Game of Life: Mathematics and Construction” that systematically introduces common structures and patterns and discusses how to reason about their behaviour.
It’s beautifully typeset with tons of diagrams. Well worth a look.
