Just came across a photo from the time our coworker SK got a job somewhere else and I made corn dogs on her last day.
Interestingly, I only sent it to friends in the US. I guess that must be app review?
First build of the public beta is on the move
Thanks Hyatt.
Claude + shaders in SwiftUI is really fun.

I've established that sponsorships don't particularly make me money, but I wanted to try to get the word out about my recent launch, so I decided to at least have some fun at my literal expense. I'd like to hope history will remember β€œGuideGuide? *Shrug*” as one of the most successful calls to action of all time.

ChatGPT is now my fourth highest source for GuideGuide and for actual referrers (excluding my own website), it's #2 behind Google.

If I had to guess, this comes from the fact that GuideGuide was a HUGE deal in 2010 when it was free, with tons of people talking about it on Twitter back then. I also have a couple Smashing Magazine articles about it. I can't imagine my contemporary web presence is driving it now.

Interestingly, the download conversion is pretty high, but sales are not.
