Pretty impressed that this ESP32 connects to the wifi, makes an MQTT connection and checks for retained messages before going back to sleep in ~700ms.

In finding the installation manual I've discovered it supports OpemTherm! Might have to try persuade the landlord to let me connect to it, or just do it on the sly anyway 🤫
Boiler picked a good time to fault out this morning when it's -5°C outside; helpfully that fault code could indicate 5 different things but based on the noise it started making last night I reckon the condensate drain has blocked up
Also every time I try to use these damn modules (it's a Traco Power 78xx regulator drop in replacement thing) I manage to screw the footprint up. EVERY TIME.
