A friend that might as well be family and I went on a day trip today. We had great conversations, the ones that takes 6 hours stuck in a car together.

We arrived at a conversation about intent, creativity and purpose.

He's a professional singer with a DA. I'm just some tech guy.

But it was fascinating how our similar approaches were to creativity and purpose.

Fundamentally, slow down. Divorce yourself from your and others expectations, and apply yourself as best you can at the moment.

Rinse and repeat. However leave time for self care.

Norwich completely crashed out

First world annoyance: Yesterday I went to Costco to get gas. The person in front of me and I pulled into the pumps at the same time.

I got out, and started to fill my truck. The person ahead of me was still in their CR-v.

In the time it took to fill the ~20 gallon tank and my 2.5 gallon emergency can, the person ahead of me just started getting out of their car.

They occupied the pump, not utilizing it in a timely fashion.

This grinds my gears because it disrespects other people. It's the same for people driving in the left lane below the speed limit. Or they have enough people in their car to use the HOV lane but they don't, taking up bandwidth.
