Today I am 5 years cancer free and 5 years with my new liver. This was my goal - to live another 5 years.
So many people to thank: David Wiley for saving my life with a big chunk of his liver; my love Lesley; Elaine Wiley and TJ Bliss for taking care of David; all of the people who signed up to give me part of their liver; the incredible Mayo Liver Transplant team - the list goes on.
I think I'll take a walk on this beautiful sunny day, and do everything I can to pay their kindness forward.
