Old City Hall, Milwaukie Oregon

A sunny spring day on Main Street in Milwaukie, Oregon the old Historic City Hall bustles with new activity! It was recently restored and repurposed as a retail and restaurant experience, featuring Pfreim Brewery and multiple retailers. Built in 1938 as the last WPA project in Oregon; and designed by local architect Walter F. Kelly.

Rust Relic (Canon G2, 2026)

My first shot with a 25-year-old Canon G2! So far, I’m impressed. Shot in macro mode with lens wide open (f/2.5) at 21mm (full telephoto length). Border added in PS for a vintage look.

Summer sunset on the Columbia River. I took this photo back in 2007 with my Nikon D80 and manual focus Series E 75-150 f3.5 lens!

Welcome Summer!

On the first day of summer 2022 in the Northern Hemisphere, here's a sunset I captured on the Columbia River back in 2007, from a floating houseboat at Columbia Ridge Marina in Gresham, Oregon. Taken with a Nikon Series E 75-150mm on my Nikon D80.

In 1972, this camera redefined the 35mm SLR. They proved that a professional system could be light and compact. This is my 1970s Olympus OM-1 with a fantastic 50mm f1.8 Zuiko lens.
