@Landa @jwz Voyager picked up quantum slipstream drive tech in the Delta quadrant. Allowing transwarp speeds, but couldn't keep it stavle enough to use.

In Star Trek Prodigy they used it to chase after the Protostar.

I don't remember if the Andromeda show had one.

@FritzAdalis @spacehobo @jwz Transwarp was introduced in Star Trek 3: The Search for Spock.

It was just faster warp drive.

The Traveler stuff was non-sciencey mind controlling matter stuff. Not new technology.

@jwz Protostar is really just Transwarp for a new generation.

I would love to see them bring back the Quantum Slipstream.

@kde I've been using KDE since it first released. The increasing dependency on user hostile libraries has me looking at dumping it from my systems. The increasing loss of portability and choice is disappointing.
