Upgraded our #GoToSocial server to v0.20. Some stats if you are interested:
Migrated from v0.19.2 -> 0.20.0
The answers in the 'Reason for Joining' field when someone creates a new account on the server are hysterical. I can spot a fake AI generated response from space!
Delighted to say we now have our own #phanpy hosted server. Same great code as the original phanpy.social, but another place to find it.
Ideal for #GoToSocial accounts, as well as #mastodon, etc.
No personal data captured or stored by us. Safety first!
We've just updated our #GoToSocial instance to v0.19 (release candidate 2) - almost the next full release. We couldn't wait any longer to test some new features.

Oh, and the new profile layout which shows only your images to visitors is a triumph. This will be a great alternative to Insta' and Pixel' 🖼️📷️

Anyone using #litestream for an #sqlite DB
I have a 3GB database, and Litestream is replicating it to another server. However, it seems to be running out of control with disk space. On the original server (where the live DB is) is a generations folder under the hidden litestream folder. It is full of WAL files. Currently over 37,000 files consuming 118GB of disk space.
My config includes retention: 24h and retention-check-interval: 1h with a snapshot-interval: 4h. I understood it would delete anything older than 24 hours. Am I doing something wrong? These wal files go back to the day I started using litestream

I migrated our #GoToSocial instance to a new server. It was a joy, and so simple.
Copy Files, Edit a file as I was changing to reverse proxy. Job done.
Documentation is brilliant too. Huge respect to all.
