blind guy, likes fishing, bowling, video games, hates cleaning, housework. No interest in dating and drama relationships bring.
@muchanchoasado Yes, I remember this well from my childhood.

@forse Your options are Orca, Orca, and... Orca. none of them are very good, I'm sad to say. You have more options in terminal. TDSR and Fenrir, and on the shell, if distros are still including the kernel modules, Speakup. The latter should work when the espeakup package is installed, which is an interface between it and eSpeak.
@lerven Nah it's more like:
Step 1: Don't
Step 2: enjoy it hearing you 6% of the time
Step 3: When it does here you, 8 out of 10 times, the answer it gives will either be completely irrelevant to the question, or it'll say that it doesn't know.
@JamminJerry @FreakyFwoof I can't do it either, notes are right but timing is abysmal. I also apparently need a new instance because I can't post the text here as it's too long, and they reject my audio. Bleh!
@ZBennoui @JessicatheVIArtist Well, I wanna be careful because these are guys working on a free and open source project in their spare time for fun. They aren't obligated to complete it in a given timeframe, or ever. I do think communication could've been better for sure, and I do absolutely not think it was designed with accessibility in mind. Given that, they have done great work in Surge XT, and all I can do is hope that they'll pick it up.
@lerven @alyssa6595 I mean, if said sounds were emanating from your general vacinity whilst you were engaged in a call with your boss, I'd say the question is valid.
I recently discovered the shortcut to jump to your dashboard on GitHub G followed by D. I can only assume it means, goddamit, get me the hell out of here.
@JessicatheVIArtist I really wish the lines of communication were a bit more open as to the state of screen reader accessibility on Short Circuit. I've asked several times, and have been reassured that it's coming. I could accept that, but we as a community have been burned so many times. I still hold out hope, because these guys have done good work in the past, but it's a bit concerning that it keeps getting pushed back.
