@retroRewatch Good question. I think we would. Even, as the episode mentions, control of/by the media, I think the realistic picture of actual jobs being impacted on a world-wide scale, couldn’t go unnoticed.

One thing that I wondered about - would those industries who work most closely with newborns (e.g., maternity wards in hospitals), notice the drastic decline in the birth rate right away?

@jgamet It doesn’t happen often enough! Why wouldn’t you get to know them? It is such a nicer world when you can wave hello and goodbye, and converse about local matters, etc.
