@andreas I just found out recently that we can buy e-tickets for transit in Dallas / Fort Worth via a phone app. Works great! Doesn’t even require interaction with a kiosk (notorious for not working unexpectedly, especially when you are in a hurry). You are right to be excited.
I’ve heard that you can follow accounts from other platforms on the #Fediverse from #Mastodon. Yesterday, I decided to test this and started following a #podcast on #Funkwhale. I’ve already received a toot announcing the release of an episode. This Fedithing is growing on me.

@zudn I highly recommend the Great Adventure Bible Timeline by Jeff Cavins. The target audience is Catholics, but anyone can use it. Also, there is a podcast available now by Fr. Mike Schmitz called "The Bible in a Year" that is based on this timeline. He's very energetic and easy to listen to. In each episode, he reads a few chapters and provides some explanation and background info.

- take notes on every system change (on a different computer or in the cloud like Google Drive, just in case this machine ends up in an inaccessible state)
- regularly make a backup copy of your history file
