Sorting by Date Modified, there are a few folders in there from January 2025, and the truly large number of things for a specific day start July 31st 2025. Obviously the machine reboots at least once a month for Patch Tuesday.

How is a normal person supposed to know to run Disk Cleanup, *if* they even know such a thing exists?

@kpwags Microsoft was desperately hoping GamePass would help them win back market share. It did not. It helped them find a new way to lose money without benefit instead.

@kpwags Right, the Sony version of this service makes much more fiscal sense: put things on there after a year. Get people who'd be waiting/hoping for a discounted price to give monthly instead.

It is not a surprise to anybody who took a singular economics class that there was no way Microsoft should've been giving away Call of Duty on day one on GamePass.
