When the words don't come, I turn to art.
This was originally a glass painting tutorial that I followed using my #fabercastell Polychromos coloured pencils.
Even when I'm making #art I am thinking about writing.
This poem was inspired by today's sketchbook practice, towards a future painting.
As I've been learning about #digitalart I have been having fun recreating some of my earlier works.
This inspired what I'm calling the #earliestartmemory challenge.
In short, find a picture of your earliest memory using a particular medium, and then recreate that image digitally.
My first #watercolour memory is this candle that I painted with help from a more experienced friend.
Can't wait to see what comes of it - have fun!
Hard days need flowers
Sowing seeds, in the moment
Sunflower delight.
ICYMI: My poem 'Notes from an Egg' is going to be published by creatopia.studio in the Spring edition of #CreatopiaMagazine
Yesterday marked the first anniversary of the release of the #HardTimesHappen anthology of #poetry on #mentalhealth
I am very pleased to have a poem included, entitled 'Sanctuary'. More information can be found via Black Pear Press, at the link below.
